A leading industries group in Saudi Arabia require Production Manager  for their plastic factory to head the thermoforming division

The Thermoforming Production Manager is responsible for production, maintenance, tooling, and functionality of thermoforms and personnel. The position will create safe and effective ways to produce quality product at optimum performance and have a thorough knowledge in mechanics and upkeep of automated machinery.

Summary of essential job functions

• Manage all production personnel, production scheduling and maintenance in the thermoforming area.
• Become an expert in troubleshooting and repair diagnosis on thermoforming machines.
• Train technicians in regards to machines including operations, safety, quality
• Potentially develop inhouse fabrication capability (including, but not limited to CNC machining, 3D printing, finishing)
• Work with Plant and Production Engineers to support engineering standards, including implementation of long-term fixes; also managing small projects.
• Communicate and interact with sales team to develop production priorities and schedule; ensure production orders are filled to customer requirements.
• Work with Quality Assurance Manager to implement routine product testing and QA protocols.
• .
• , process trends, lab data, and process control.
• Develop, review and update SOPs, knowledge, and spare parts for process and maintenance.
• Keep thorough log and data sheets, employee evaluations, morning meetings, and production improvement plans.
• Schedule and plan all maintenance work in the thermoforming area.

Minimum requirements

Should be graduate with  minimum 10 years experience in Plastic industry out of 5 years as Production manager for thermoforming

Experience in the Sheet Extruder and Forming Production Management, Process Engineering & Improvement, Quality Management and Resource management plastics Industries. Responsible for thermoforming and vacuum forming both thick and thin forming is there. Handling thick forming lot of secondary operation required
