Job Details :

Our client in Saudi Arabia,  established in 1954 and is the leading Industrial Gas Manufacturer and Supplier of Industrial, Medical, Specialty and Refrigerant Gases besides Welding Equipment and consumables.

Their Head Office is located at Jeddah with branches covering throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview: As the General Manager Quality, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects for Quality Assurance and Control across all our operations.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our Products and Services are reliable and meet the highest standards of Quality, Safety and Compliance while deriving continuous improvement initiations to enhance operational efficiencies and Customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensuring development, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management Systems, policies and Procedures in alignment with Industry best practices, International Standards and Regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining, Improving and updating the existing certification like ISO 9001, ISO 17025, standards and GACA Aviation approvals etc.
  • Regular Quality Audits and Inspections to ensure compliance and continuous improvements.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive activities initiating to address Quality/Complaint issues enhancing customer satisfaction and minimizing risks.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to derive Quality Improvements, projects and effective implementation of Industry best practice.
  • Provide Leadership and mentorship to the Quality Team, fostering a culture of team work, accountability, innovation and continuous learning.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure and monitor Quality performance and report periodically on Quality metrics to the Senior Management.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a track record of work experience of 15-20 years in a reputable Industrial Gas Company.
  2. Proven accomplishment of implementing and maintaining the International Quality Management System and Standards.
  3. Well conversant of Quality Lab functions for Industrial, Medical and Specialty Gases.
  4. Strong understanding of Regulatory Requirements (including CGA) and Industry best practices.
  5. Excellent Leadership, Communication and Interpersonal Skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the Organization.
  6. Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to driver change, solve complex problems and deliver results in a multi-cultural environment.
  7. International Qualification/Certification as Lead Assessor, Six Sigma Belts, and Business Excellence etc. would be a plus point.
  8. Computer and Presentation skills.
