One of our clients, a prominent non-woven fabrics manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia Would like to recruit Supply Chain Manager

1.        BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1.        Oversee S business units’ demand & supply planning (forecasting sales, material and production capacity management) in addition to customer services, logistics and procurement that will help the company meets its targeted sales and service level objectives..

2.        RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

Main Tasks

1.        Analyzes internal demand stream information and categorizes according to demand patterns. May input sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems.

2.        Responsible for managing the long-term (3-year) demand planning process to ensure proper inventory levels of products to support the business and satisfy customer demand.

3.        Lead the S&OP monthly meeting and ensure all inputs and outputs are delivered on time.

4.        Matching the required level of production to the existing resources, Scheduling and choosing the actual work to be started in the manufacturing facility and setting up and delivering production orders to production facility.

5.        Ensures the critical analysis of inventory levels to support Company goals and manages the development of creative solutions to inventory issues.

6.        Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

7.        Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

8.        Resolve any arising problems or complaints.

9.        Supervise, coach and train warehouse and logistics workforce.

10.      Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.

11.      Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

12.      Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations

13.      Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

14.      Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system

15.      Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.

16.      Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc)

17.      Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

18.      Must understand, comply, and enforce all Environmental, Safety and Health policies and applicable government Regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)

19.      Direct and manage the activities and work of subordinates by setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff, and providing feedback and appraisal in order to maximize subordinate and departmental performance.

4.        DYNAMICS / LIAISE

1.        Within the Department: Logistics Team Leader, Warehouse  Team Leader, Shipping coordinator, Storekeeper, Planning & CSD

2.        With Other Departments: Production, Maintenance, Sales, Quality Assurance, Safety, HR/Admin and IT department.

3.        With External Parties: Supplier, Vendors and customers

5.        EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

1.        Minimum Bachelor Degree ,chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related area,

2.        7-10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply management leadership role, preferred manufacturing company

6.        KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

1.        Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

2.        Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

3.        Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

4.        Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.

5.        Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

6.        Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.

7.        Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.

8.        Strong negotiation skills and listening ability.

9.        Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.

10.      Exposed to different cultures and working environments

7        OTHER CHARACTERISTICS (WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL EFFORTS, ETC)

1.        Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally.

•          Position : Supply Chain Manager 

•          Report to: General Manager

•          Duration of Contract: 1 Year Renewable Contract

•          Basic Salary: SR 10,000 - 13,000 (Saudi Riyals only) ( decided after interview ) per month 100% tax free

•          Housing Allowance: 25% of the basic salary

•          Transportation Allowance: 10% of the basic salary

•          Vacation: 30 calendar days (22 workings days) paid leave upon completion of contract with round trip ticket per year to the nearest international airport of the home country as per company policy

•          Amenities: IQAMA & Medical Insurance - provided by the company

•          Status : Family

•          Work Schedule : 45 hours a week, 5 days/week.

 

Required Experience :
