Our client is an engineering and environmental consulting company with expertise in design, planning, supervision and environmental consulting on strategically important KSA projects. Their team of creative engineers and consultants has experience in various fields and have worked on major engineering projects Kingdom wide. We are currently seeking a senior Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team in the Jazan Region. This is an exciting senior role with great scope for future career development with an ambitious growing major national player in the consulting business.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Environmental Project Manager. The Senior Environmental Project Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team of specialists from multiple environmental disciplines to ensure the enhancement and development of environmental baseline studies required by our strategic client the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu at JCPDI (Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries). The baseline studies shall be in many discipline areas such as Air, Water, Land, Meteorology, Geology, Marine, Solid waste, Ecology, and socioeconomics. The Senior Environmental Project Manager shall be able to provide personnel management, client relationship management, project management, and the technical and team leadership necessary to accomplish the goals. Significant experience is required on major environmental studies in the Middle East or in a similar environment. Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Strong Experience in successful delivery of Project management (Environmental field) including multi-million SAR value projects for major clients.
Experience in successfully leading large project teams.
Experience in KSA Environmental Regulatory requirements, according to the NCEC and RC.
Experience in conducting and project managing major Environmental Impact Assessments (Terrestrial and Marine) with advanced report writing skills.
Experience in developing environmental strategies in alignment with client goals. Experience in managing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs in addition to project environmental management plans.
Experience in coordinating and leading stakeholder engagement with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven capability in delivering highly technical environmental studies to international standards within agreed timelines
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and innovate when faced with project challenges Internationally Recognized Professional Certifications are a distinct advantage.
